Laundry Management

It is a huge problem to deal with patient’s clothes, worker clothes, old men’s clothes in factories, nursing homes, hospital etc where area cost is high and it is difficult to record washing disinfection, production processes, dry and ironing. With the development of RFID technology, using UHF RFID solution , laundry industry can quickly accept clothes, create effective work platform, automatic counting, take clothes and greatly improve the work efficiency and reduce error rate.

The whole system includes 5 steps as below:

Step 1: Laundry factory picks up uniforms from customer and sew RFID laundry tag on the uniforms.

Step 2: All the uniforms pass the runner gate; the reader on both sides of the gate can scan multiple tags at the same time the system can know the specific uniforms quantity enter at the same time.

Step 3: During the washing line, the RFID reader on the line will write washing history data into the tags and the main system will keep record.

Step 4: After the wash, it needs to come to the drying line and can use RFID reader to check inventory.

Step 5: After finishing wash and dry, It will pass through the runner gate again, when the reader scans and the main system will know the number of uniforms and the time it has finished laundry.
